1) I'm not sure I understand what Grant wants.
2) I'd love to see the whole user interface come up as one window; all the prompts shown and the ability to move back and forth (up and down) before committing the results.
3) Of course, I'd love to see date validation logic included.
4) Could we have the option to show a drop down list? For example, all the states, all the months, all the sales reps, all the G/L numbers, etc. See CmtHelpD.
5) OH yes, please don't remove the ENTER thingie. If folks understand it, it can be really valuable.
