Version 8.03 was the last version before the UIs were separated from the servers. So what you're running now is quite different from 8.03. The UI communicates with the server via a message pipe so that is what your error message is refering to. Not sure why you'd get this error. If the user doesn't need the UI you might try eliminating it. You'll find a shortcut to them in the startup folder. Refer to the doc linked below for more info.
