The line: IF SUB(STS(0),4,1) EQ "1" .... checks to see if F2 has been pressed. Used to be that the line: IF SUB(STS(0),3,1) EQ "1" would tell you that "ENTER/TAB..." had been pressed (read request status). Even though this is still in the documentation it no longer works, is this true?
Used to be able to create a timeout routine where when a calculated amount of time had passed you could end your program OR if the status showed a "read request" time would reset and the program could continue with an input of data (the cause of a read status 1).
Can this be fixed?
