I remember Qantel USE files as being named =FILEC1A. Later (post Q) evolved to ^C1A and now ^C1A.INC. Personally, I'm glad I kept the prefix on the USE/INC files. Keeps them sorted together. Still mentally debating if I should have kept the "-" prefix on my source when I converted to IBS.
