I never liked or used =FILE. I considered it redundant. And I'm a firm believer in "the less you type, the fewer typos you make." Seems reasonable to me.
I don't see the need for prefixes when you have file extensions. M$ LOVES file extensions - they are associated with executables, you can sort by extensions and they are tie-breakers: OE.OBJ is not OE.IBS. Oh, you're wedded to CED? Well OE.OBJ is not the same file as OE so why call the source =OE? Because Signature hides the .OBJ? Should they? Should you stay with CED? The weight of the past is rounding my shoulders.
I firmly believe, I continue to lobby, for extensions on data files. It is so very hard to email data files. They always arrive as C1A.DAT and C1A.I00. So why not accept DAT?? Then OE.DAT would not look like OE.OBJ.
Each file can be a maximum of 1MB in length Uploaded files will be purged from the server on a regular basis.
