I am not trying to run 98 (ver 293)and 2004 at the same time. I was running 98 to see if the dongle was working.. 98 worked for a while - it has been running for the last 5 years. I closed 98 down and ran 2004. It worked fine. Then I guess the dongle broke. I can not run 98 or 2004. I installed the new dongle today 3/2/04.
When I click on 98 it runs cosc with no errors but it gives the error Security Plug on specfied LPT port failed to initialize.
When I run Comet 2004 COSC runs but then it comes up with the message No Security Servers Found Security Violation
I can't find the Security Server version #
I have run ServerInstall.exe and CometServerProducts on the old dongle ?
