We're going to need a little more info to help you. Which version of Comet98 and which version of the security server are you running? Are you trying to run Comet on the same machine that the security server is running?
The latest version of the security server is 3.07. Did you run either ServerInstall.exe or CometServerProducts.exe to install the parallel dongle drivers? Once you have done this if you are still having the problem, it would be helpful for you to include your Comet.ini and startup details files in your next posting.
