It appears that the Comet Buffer is not operating consistently in Windows 7. This is similar to a problem reported back in August. Running Comet32, the program creates a PDF file using pdfFactory then using CopyFile relocates the file to another directory. The process requires reading the original output file name from the buffer (#) in order to copy it. After an unpredictable number of files being processed the PDF output file gets created correctly but the buffer contains gibberish forcing a CopyFile error. The progran runs fine on XP. We've tested this on a number of Windows 7 machines with different programs that copy pdf files and the problem is universal.
