two thoughts:
the (SPOOL MESSAGE=) info is the only thing that _DOESN'T_ carry over (I think)
so long as your suggested LOG file has the original spool file name, in addition to the new created name, it could work.
as I said elsewhere... there was some purging of spool files on the TEST system
so 000003?? became 00000001
and 000005?? became 00000002
in looking in the index for the new Spool Archive (PDFARCHX) i didn't see enough information to link it all together
my SPOOLMESSAGEs have things in them like:
"Commission JUNE 2011"
-or-
"Residual MARCH 2012"
-or even-
"Fri 04-MAY-2012 10:20:30 End-Of-Month Sales" (messages like this are Machine Generated)
