Has anyone tried using Comet using an iSCSI SAN ?

My Client needs to refresh many drives that are now too old. With U320 kind of discontinued and pricey, I am investigating the possibility of using iSCSI where Comet would run off it's own server connected to the iSCSI SAN and the other server roles (storage, DC, DNS, DHCP, WINS etc..) would be running on another server using VMs and connected to the same SAN.

Probably build the SAN using SAS (preferred but $$$) or SATA in RAID 5 or 6 with a total capacity of 3TB to 4TB.

How's the performance of Comet on iSCSI?
