If the files are where they are supposed to be, then check security and permissions. Here's two screen shots from my Win 2008 server.
sharea shows the basic sharing security. Should be Users & Full.
shareb shows how you can reset permissions for everything under the Comet folder. On the last screen, select Users (should say Full here too) and check "Replace All". Then click Apply. Can take a while depending on the number files and folders. You get an odometer :)
That should clear up any security and permissions issues from the copy.
You may also have to access the server firewall to open ports 11750-11759 to enable the workstations to run Comet.
Each file can be a maximum of 1MB in length Uploaded files will be purged from the server on a regular basis.
