Copying extended files between systems

Have an extended file on my PROD system... RecLen=252 KeyLen=64 KeyOff=0

similarly defined file on my TEST system

after the DOS Copy PROD=>TEST, which overlays the extended file, got the following in CometEx when I tried to find out why nothing was working:

RecLen=252 KeyLen=64 KeyOff=-1

can't seem to get rid of the -1 offset

looks like I'll have to offload to a .TXT file on PROD and then
rebuild the file on TEST with the .TXT file.

this kind of DOS copy between systems has always worked with regular Keyed Files.... this is the first time I've tried it with an Extended Key File.
