Is this a true statement: Comet doesn't really care what kind of server it is connecting to as long as the workstations are running a version of windows that is compatible with the version of Comet that it is running.
My client is planning on moving from Novell to Windows 2003 Server with 31 workstations attached that are running Comet 504, '98, '2000, and '2004. They will be upgrading the 504 to 2004.
The server currently runs cometnlm and will be upgraded to cometsrv32.
Does it appear I have my bases covered?
The hardware tech wanted to know if Comet is compatible with "Terminal Server" and "Citrix"? I don't have a clue what he is talking about but will research after your response as to what they are all about.
