It depends.
When you are using PCL, you are dealing directly with the printer. Fonts need to be resident in the printer either as a hard font or a soft font.
You can list the printers font from the control panel of most printers.
To load soft fonts, it is a bit more complex... I've done it many-many years ago, I'd have to dig in my archives to find how. Any time the printer is reset (by software or power off/on) the fonts may be erased. Printing a Windows job will do that for you.
Way back then, you could purchase font cards but i haven't seen that in ages.
Each file can be a maximum of 1MB in length Uploaded files will be purged from the server on a regular basis.
