CometLib image files

Hello, I'm working on some non-Comet programming which requires that I read Comet files via CometLib. The installation is a current Comet installation best I can tell (Build .503/14.08b) - they are a subscription client.

So far, It's working out and I've been able to read a number of Comet keyed files without issue.

Today, I came across an image file (I1A from Solutions) and my programming is blowing up (Comet Error: Parameter too large (err/ret=2/0) ). I know the record is 378 characters and I'm only asking for 5 characters "r$=db.getrecfield$(I1A,0,5)". The same code works without issues with other non-image Comet files.

Is there another Function available in CometLib or am I SOL?
