One of my old account just upgraded their NLM from Novell to CometServer32.
They are using Windows Server 2003 Enterprise with CS32 4.12
Workstations are a mix of 98se and XPs running Comet 2002.320
Since the upgrade, the Windows 98 stations keep getting a Winsock error 10054.
Message looks like this:
Winsock Error: 10054
Current Task: 001 / T16
Current Program: QMONITOR, C2K
Last Function: Open
ASCII Path: \\WIN2K3\COMET$\CIE\CIE.Y2K\QMONITOR.OBJ
Extended info: The virtual circuit was reset by the remote site executing a " hard" or " abortive" close. The application should close socket as it is no longer usable.
Extra Comment: Unanticipated Error Sending Packet.
I tried everything I could think of, including re-installing the TCP/IP stack - as recommended my Microsoft site.
I even tried putting back the /K in the shortcut.. No Go!
This error seems to happen after the station has been idle for a few minutes.
