Document Manager question

The big projects have finished up and I now have time to try out all
the new Comet2005 features, including PDF printing and Document Manager. I'm using latest versions of all and pdfFactory. Questions:

1) User Name is blank for my documents. Where does this come from?
2) My second program print was from program CLPW, Customer Label Print, Windows. However, the program name shown in DM was Z, my menu.
Where does the program name get picked up?
3) I double click on any document, or choose View in one of the various ways, and nothing happens. Is this because my user name does not match? Do I need to register a file type?
