Hi Steven. The one thing you mentioned that really got my attention is "We have found that at times the shortcut info gets changed...". The only way a shortcut can change without the user doing it is for Windows to change it. When you activate a shortcut and Windows cannot find the program specified in the shortcut, Windows will search your drives until it finds it. Once found, Windows will automatically update the shortcut to reflect the new path. This behavior on your workstations is indicative of a network problem that is preventing Windows from finding the program in its specified location. Even if you are able to change the shortcut back to its original setting and make it work, you will likely have a problem later with other TCP/IP services - like CFileSrv or CometAnywhere. I suggest that you have your network guru take a look. You may have a intermittant problem with a cable, router or switch.
