1) You kind of hinted at the end of your linked page ('the email.ini file example') about attachments. Is there an option for this? Makes sence for a PDF. For text and HTML the programmer might want to include this information in the body of the email or as attachment. Any thoughts?
2) Authentication. You mentioned not available in this version. Can it be in future since the industry seems to be heading that way. Ie. include user=username and password=***** in the EMAIL.INI file or with mnemonics. I beleive the username and password is passed to mail server encrypted (some kind of math like base64?) and the rest of the email message is sent the same way.
3) Feature suggestion: Validating email addresses. To date this has been the biggest headache I've had to deal with. Mail servers can do this, but higher level apps (like Comet) don't seem to give programmers an easy way to do it. Would be really nice. (refer to SMTP RFC821 section 3.3 'Verify and Expanding')
