In this case "class C" means any machine with the same first three numbers of the ip address the same. 192.168.2.xx is not on the same sub net as 192.168.1.xx. I am thinking that your VPN software translates the private 192.168.2.xx to the lan address 192.168.1.xx.

There IS a timeout associated with the connection to the file server. I think it is on the order of 3 minutes or so. This connection would NOT happen if you did not have a profile name specified (pn=) because there would not be an associated server specified.

Have you posted your INI file? I would really like to see that; especially the section configuring node WS2.

As for CometAnywhere: The customer can use CometAnywhere from home and work interchangeably. One of the existing Comet nodes would become the CometAnywhere server. CometAnywhere is sold by the session. Signature has some sort of trade in of 2 CometAnywhere sessions for a single Comet system. Contact your dealer.
