The basic, fundamental, underlying requirement that the .D00 file must be in the directory containing the target file is flat out wrong.
I am not being critical of you personally. But I do not agree with that design decision and Jim agreed he would revisit it and change things. I have not heard more about that.
It's a wrong decision and extending it as Signature (not Barbara Brazil) has done, in the way you handle the generation of INCLUDE files, is rubbing salt in the wound. You could ask for a directory, you could put the .D00 in the same dir as #FILES or, best of all, you must relax the same directory requirement for .D00s. Sooner rather than later. I am getting older every day.
