Badge - go to the control panel and you should see the icons in there. For the file system, open up the file server window, click on properties, click on the startup tab and make sure the SHOW ICON IN SYSTEM TRAY is checked. If it is not, do so. For the security program, go to edit and then settings. If there is no check mark in the SHOW ICON IN THE SYSTEM TRAY, do so. If these check marks are already there, then the comet gurus will need to answer.
