This is amazing! I am reliving my trip to Barcelona by reading your post! I remember the restaurant in the old city that has the chickens cooking on the rotisserie. The day we walked Las Ramblas there were dozens of women there having some sort of a tatting competition and there was a vendor selling all kinds of birds - everything from parrots to chickens.
