You shoud visit the Prado in Madrid.
In Barcelona check out the Ramblas and anything Gaudi. The Sagrada Familia is the tourist spot but anything Gaudi, including the Palau Guell which is on the Ramblas. The climb to the roof is worth it, though you may not think so on the way up.
There is a restaurant in the old city that is at least 200 years old and cooks chickens on the street on a rotosserie. You enter by walking through the kitchen! The name has to do with shrimp maybe?
Oh yes, the Picasso museum in Barcelona. There is a huge realistic painting he did when he was 16 years old. Man, he could paint. At sixteen.
If you are driving, remember there are 600,000 cars in Barcelona and 400,000 parking spaces!
Love Barcelona if you had not guessed by now.
Going to the Alhambra? Valencia? Best paella in the world in Valencia. They invented it and they do it best.
