Upgrade customer during Xmas layoff. From 5.07 to latest everything. Turned on CFAM.
1) On one report Reporter gives "ERROR = 43 - ACTUAL INPUT FILE NOT FOUND" when QREPORTS is run from a program. If run from QREPORTS manually, the report runs fine. See attachment.
2) One QDIR appears to be corrupt. This one of two "N" directories used by their programmmer to transfer files from his PC to the server. The other "N" directory is fine.
Three data files in folder. Rebuild shows four files. Extra file has no name or details. I "X" the file and do the rebuild. Successful with three files. DIRCAT hangs for several minutes and then displays two of the three files.
I'm going on-site tomorrow AM to delete the QDIR and rebuild from scratch.
3) Customer reports that user startup is faster but data processing is slower. Would checking user CFAM settings help? Some users had all zeroes. I don't think their IT guy has reset them to default.
