Running: CometServe32 v6.10, Comet 2006 v374

Since upgrading to v374 recently, (from either 372 or 373), and CometServe 610 (from 609), we have been getting a lot of "file not found" error messages when attempting to open datafiles. These files do exist, and we cant find any pattern as to why this happens.

Here's an example:

01/03/07 06:12:22 570 OP1 ERROR #: 11 FILE NOT FOUND
VSN: 606.374 LUN: 49 FILE: $APPLOG . DIR:
KEY: €€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€0000000001
SYS FUNC: 03 OPEN
DOS FUNC: 3E CLOSE A FILE HANDLE
DOS ERR : 74
DOS HANDLE: C001 PATH: \\SVRCAMFOURCOMET\COMET\COMET\OBJ\OP1.OBJ€

USER ADDR :042C 0431 0437 043B 043F 0443 0447 044B 044F 0453 0457 045B 045F 0462

The file has been around for many years, and every application on our system opens this file as part of an include file at the beginning of the program. So the file def existed, but something else is intermittently making an application think that it doesnt.
