All my customers are subscribers. They understand the need to support Signature Systems and keep Comet growing.
On the other hand [Harry Truman pleaded for a one-armed economist; he was so unhappy with "on the one hand... on the other hand.."] I am 400 miles from them and upgrading Comet, like any complex software, is not an automatic, painfree proceedure and I don't like to fix "what aint broken." And this has been working for years and years.
One alternative is to upgrade to 2006 or 2007, but I have committments for the next three or four days and I'm reluctant to leave them unable to do any useful work.
