F1 key to launch a CHM help file

Been looking at this for a bit and have not found the solution yet.

I want an IB program to be able to launch a CHM file when the F1 key is pressed.

I know Nova/SuperNova can do this, but they appear to be more involved that I was hoping for right now.

I have worked with Easy Scan, Partial Scan, and Full Scan.

So far it appears that only Full Scan allows the F1 to be seen by the IB program. The problem with full scan is that I did not want to write a keyboard handler to handle all the keys. As it looks like Full will allow F3 F10 to go through, breaking the ESCATETO function.

Though the documentation says Partial Scan allows the F1, I have not found that to be the case. (Nor does it allow the F9)

Any insights, anyone?
Thanks.
