every time I am forced to re-install Ultraedit ( New PC, Buggered HDD Etc.) I have the same problem. I go back to the original doco and follow it thru and it all installs OK, I have pretty coloured text but when I try to compile I get a message about telling the system about my Comet startup settings. A beaut little box comes up asking for Comet startup details and I fill it in to the best of my ability and it tells me I need Cometanywhere to do what I am trying to do. I stuff around for a few hours and get halfway thru sending an Email to Jim, try the compile to get the message exactly right and bugger me it compiles.
This has happened on W98 & W2000 servers and on Comet no more recent than c2002.
Also I haven't got the compile button on the tool bar and I cant find where you adjust that. It is in the drop down advanced tool bar.
