My Workstation is xp, my server is win 2003 server. Yes, there is an email notification there, although I could not test that since my 2003 server is not set up to email. If you specify an email address in the "from" field, It will attempt to email you (I think!!??)
The attached zip file contains the DES program and a revised faxptr.exe. Copy faxptr.obj to one of your comet dirs and register it as a Comet object. Copy (and modify) fax.ini to one of your comet dirs and register it as text.
Copy the other 3 files to your Comet executable folder (where cosh.exe lives).
Configure a printer:
Printer = Ltf,x,n,,txt,Faxptr; Text fax printer
I have been testing by running the dircat utility to ltf.
Note: If the interop files are not in the executable folder, faxptr crashes. I can't find a way to stop this behavior.
