In chatting to Doug Pegg yesterday, he is experiencing similar problems & he has the aded confusion of Citrix, we recalled that we upgraded w2k3 to sp2 at the same time as we went up to 7.XX. This would seem to tie in with what Robert is saying, n'est ce pas.
I am going down there today and I'll check out the network (notwork) as carefully as I can. When it comes to network specialisrt, that is me, same with Microsoft help messages, see your systems administrator, yes me again, its a bastard when you are all things to all people and things go wrong. The joys of being a one-man band.
I am pretty sure there is just a hub-unit betwwen us and the srever. They have a couple of PC's playing up, I will pull them out and maybe play around with some pinging, as per posts.
P.S. Its stopped raining and the surf is getting back to normal.
