If I try it on the TabDlg program will you try it on the CTL5 program ?
I moved the four lines to after the EventSub and before the eventwait in the CTL5 program.
Still no joy.
Maybe it is a Direct vs Dialog issue ?
BTW the goal of this is to be able to change the text on the fly while the program is running.
