Reported this a ways back as a Reporter problem. The customer has since been update to 2008 and says there's no change.
IB program opens a control file with the From/To date range. It then updates six $ files changing the TITLE line to reflect the range. The program processes some data files and creates a work file for the reports. At the end, it runs the first $ file. The following five reports are only run at Year End and are skipped because the RUN in the first report has been removed.
When the IB program is run in Background the Date/Time stamp doesn't change on the $ files and the report isn't recompiled to reflect the change in the TITLE line.
If run in foreground, the date/time always changes and the report prints correctly.
The customer uses the Qtilities #24 option to activate the program in background.
Each file can be a maximum of 1MB in length Uploaded files will be purged from the server on a regular basis.
