Questions.....

1. When run in background, do the title lines change in the IBR file?

2. When run in background, does windows reflect the correct update date and time?

3. We suspect the program is getting some sort of error trying to write to the screen. It may just go on and run the report. Do you see any such screen activity between the run of the update program and the report generation?

The reporter looks at the fstat data (bytes 70 len 8, bytes 131 len 4 and bytes 129 len 2) to determine whether to compile or not. The date/time is determined from the data file's windows update date and time.
