Been chasing SPAM. Discovered a term called "Master Browser". Don't think IE8 or FF. It's selectable under Administrative Tools. It's a form of UDP communication between "client PC's" on a network to determine what's up. Who/what is out there?? It involves a PC client think tank protocol that elects which PC is the "Master Browser".. To what extent is this election?? How long for results? What wins? For the average user, it's amazing what's going on in the background on their PC. While you're doing Accounts Payable other communications involving your PC are going on, constantly!! I receive constant complaints of PC's slowing down in the afternoon. Could it be SPAM attempts?? Go ahead, invoke the PFIREWALL.LOG option in Windows. Check out the file. Installed a WHOIS plug-in for FF so I can quickly determine "source" identity.
Each file can be a maximum of 1MB in length Uploaded files will be purged from the server on a regular basis.
