Comet 2k9 Startup

Ran Comet2009 .405/09.04 with Vista and got "No Security Server Found" error during startup. Ran same configuration with XP and had no problems during startup. Checked support for any clues and tried turning off UAC, which made no difference. What's the solution to this problem?
