It definitely sounds like you have all your server messages being logged!! This will not only fill up that file fast, it will also cause you to run slower.

Bring up the file server console. Click View->Properties. On the Messages tab click "Show None". You probably had a lot of things checked. Unless you're troubleshooting a problem you should only have "Login/Logout/Connect" checked.

You can erase all those CometSrv(X).log files and start over. You should do this at a time when the file server is not running.
