I am using the old "Sendmail" logic (Comet 2004) for processing emails. I know the email printer is much easier and much more practical. However my customer will not upgrade yet wants the benefits.
We are sending out HTML acknowledgements, invoices, and statements. The HTML files are "supposedly" attachments. Yet they are sometimes embedded in the email, attached to the email, or both. I seem to have no control of how the "attachment" is received. It appears it is determined by the email provider.
Does anyone have any experience with this? Could it be a setting in internet exployer?
While I am at it. I would much rather prefer to attach a PDF copy to the email yet can't figure out how to do it in this email environment.
Thanks for any help sent this way. Appreciate it.
Herb.
