printing speed

Customer is experiencing serious printing speed issues.
He's printing orders on a laser printer and the program "paints" the form and then fills in the details.
I coded the program with an Open & Close to align the form. I changed that to a FLUSH but the speed issue remained.
Has anyone experienced this kind of problem? Does anyone have any ideas on how I can speed up the printing?
