Comet Anywhere Update Problem

We're running Comet 2004. v336. When our Comet Anywhere users connect, and try to download the latest update (CAUPD336.EXE), their client downloads the file, reaches 866k bytes, then stops. Nothing else happens, the session just "freezes", and the update is not installed. What could be happening?
