Is there any way to see the source for whatever UE uses to find the errors?

for instance is there some kind of text spec that was given to UE to find the errors, like the text specs that define the colours.... or is there an actual code file (C++ ????) that does this

so, if there were an imbedded RegEx that does this, maybe I could do the same in Notepad++

Thanx
