Sorry, Bob. We chose UE as the text editor to integrate with the compilation process. It reads a temp listing file looking for errors. Other text editors don't have this advantage. The temp file is not available after the compilation. You could try looking for a string of "*"s. Most errors are indicated by that in the listing file.
