At the New York meeting we talked about creating text files to be sent on to Windows Apps. There was some chat about the new exception, EXCP = 6, that can be used to determine that a text files needs to be created.
I can find no reference to this exception on the site -- BUT
There are two conditions that need to be addressed and I am lost in the logic of how to deal with each:
1) the file does not exist and it is not in the QDIR (case in point, I ACCESS a non-Comet directory and pop in a temporary QDIR)
2) the QDIR does exist, but the file does not. (The Windows App took the file, did its thing and erased the file)
In the second situation I open the file. I get an error 11. I try to create the file and I get an Error 12, file exists.
Is there a way to deal with this condition?
