Hi Barbara. The QSPOOL screen doesn't pop up at any time. I have moved the command file to the same directory as the 'Z1' file which made no difference, the 'Z1' file opened successfully and the command file didn't resulting in the following qenditor message. Ther was no difference in openning the command file first or the 'Z1' file first.

By the startup details for the session I suppose you mean the Shortcut Properties which are as follows, the others are in the .ini:
C:\C2K5\Comet.Exe /PN=COMET2K5
I have tried changing G:\Buffer to a type "L" and it made no difference. In fact, originally I had all directories as a type 'L' and only the G:\Buffer directory as a type 'C' and the same error occured.
The Comet2k5.cfg and source for Qstartx are attached hereto.
