Yes! more info is good.
I still have programs that uses #FILES companion from an earlier life, a file called #APGMAST. I use it to store usefile names and format numbers for my USEFILE generator.
I also have a bunch of "tools" to work with #FILES, like a record reformater (for expanding variables) and a array generator that is compatible with the USEFILEs generator. I had also tricked the #FILES to store KEY fields and KEY Expressions, again used by the USEFILE Generator. A lot of that information could become handy for the Reporter
