OK that was fun. I have never felt so much like an accountant as I tried to decipher some of those answers, so much for 40 years in computing. The only common thread that I could find was a question of slow or clogged network, so a hardware problem ? Start swapping NIC's & Switches.
I already use static ip and I fail to see how you can run CometAnywhere without Port Forwarding and anyway that hasn't changed since CA came in. The fact that it only started happening with V.7.0x is not relevant ?, doesn't give us any clues as to where we should be looking ? Would going back to 6.0x make it go away for a while ? Why can't problems occur with a customer that is less than 4 hours drive away. And while I am at it, its bucketing down rain, blowing a gale and I haven't been able to have a surf for three days now.
