(For Future Reference)
Well, okay.
I set up a new Vista VM, loaded the latest Comet, connected it to CometServer, tried my test program and it failed, access denied.
As it looked to be a rights problem, decided to try the "Run as Administor" option to start Comet.
Tried my test program and it WORKED.
Great! at least it work but how am I going to run Comet it as administor all the time.
Shut down Comet, start it normally, try my program again, and... it still works.
Restart Vista, try again, and it still works.
Went to my Vista CA HOST, Ran my test program still failed. Shut down Comet, restarted w/run as administrator, program works, shut down comet, restart comet normal, and program still works.
Observation:
It would appear that connecting a COMET session, with "Run as Administrator" ONCE is all it takes to resolve this issue.
