This is weird. The Err 33 is a lock violation on a read. One thing that's strange is that normally this error message is followed by the name of the file it was reading to help us track down the problem. In your case, only once was the file's name able to be retrieved. It was AVORDPCN.I00 in JHO. The other times it indicates that the handle used to read the file couldn't be matched up with a filename. Note that the file server tries 10 times to read the record before displaying a message. This could explain the performance issue. Just curious, are there any non-Comet apps running on this server - things like virus checkers or even a backup program that might have Comet files open while Comet is running?
