2 weeks ago I upgraded a customer (22 users) from Comet2007 to the latest Comet2008 server, workstation, rel & utl directories. I was on site and afterwards some of the fast typing customer service reps were complaining it seamed slower. I told them to work with it for a few days and let me know how things go. Today I got a call from the boss and he is saying many of his employees are complaining the sytem is slower since I installed the the upgrade and he wants me to go there first thing in the morning to "Fix it".
They are now running CometServerProducts802 (SecSrv 8.0, CometSrv32 8.02) on a Windows 2003 server and Comet2008Workstation391 on all the workstations.
When looking at the CometServe32 window I see many "Refreshing QDIR cache messages on their main data directory. Not sure if this is new or not.
I ran several TEST4's (Record Count=100, Iterations=10)and get readings ranging from .99 to 4.07 on two different workstations.
I also took a look at some of the CometSrv.log files and noticed some "Err:33"'s. I attached some files for review.
Each file can be a maximum of 1MB in length Uploaded files will be purged from the server on a regular basis.
