We are perplexed by this post. The server installed with Comet has not changed as you describe. I just tested this. The file server was not running. I started Comet and the file server started up automatically. When I shutdown Comet the file server terminated automatically.

Each file can be a maximum of 1MB in length Uploaded files will be purged from the server on a regular basis.
